I have to give lectures on computer networks these days to undergraduate students. I have to face many distractions in giving my lectures effectively. And the student behavior is not the least of them. One of the things I am trying to do is to record my lectures. One scheme I came up with was to record them using my smart phone and then synchronize the recorded speech with the slides. I have done it for the first lecture using quicktime. This is a sluggish process though. I had to upload the video to Dropbox from my smart phone. And then I had to get it downloaded to my macbook. Indeed, this process was quite time consuming, tedious and boring. Nonetheless, I managed to synchronize everything. I uploaded it to dropbox again. Finally from there I uploaded it to Vimeo. You can find below. I will be thinking about better schemes to record lectures for future.
